Ansgar Phạm Tĩnh, SDD là linh mục Công giáo Rôma, thuộc Tu Đoàn Giáo Sĩ Nhà Chúa Hải Ngoại (Society of Domus Dei). Đó là ý nghĩa của chữ viết tắt “SDD.” Cha Tĩnh thụ phong linh mục vào ngày 27 tháng 12 năm 2003 tại Giáo Phận Đài Trung, Đài Loan. Sau đó, cha được sai đi phục vụ tại Bacolod, Philipines, và Giáo Xứ Francis Xavier, Giáo Phận Vancouver BC, Canada. Từ năm 2007 đến mùa hè năm 2013, Cha Tĩnh được Tu Đoàn Nhà Chúa bổ nhiệm làm chánh xứ tại giáo xứ thánh Giuse, thành phố Grand Prairie, Giáo Phận Dallas, Texas. Từ mùa hè năm 2013 cho đến mùa hè năm 2016, cha là LM phụ trách Tu Viện Nguyễn Duy Khang, tại Tổng Giáo Phận New Orleans, Louisiana. Từ năm 2016 cho đến hôm nay, cha Tĩnh là linh mục chánh xứ của Giáo Xứ Đức Mẹ La Vang thuộc Tổng Giáo Phận Portland, Oregon.
Khi người ta hỏi cha về những sở thích hay lúc rảnh rỗi cha thường hay làm gì, câu trả lời của cha thật ngắn gọn: “Tôi thích đọc và viết các bài suy niệm.” Cha xác tín rằng là con cái của Thiên Chúa, mỗi người đều có những câu chuyện kỳ diệu để chia sẻ hầu đem lại sự khích lệ cho mọi người trong mối quan hệ với Thiên Chúa hằng sống và để nhận biết Người một cách cá vị nhờ chính Lời của Chúa.
Trang blog này được dành cho tất cả những ai ao ước được lớn lên và hoàn thiện theo dung mạo của Đức Giêsu Kitô. Ước mong duy nhất của cha Tĩnh đối với những ai ghé thăm trang blog này, những ai đọc bài suy niệm hằng tuần, và lắng nghe những bài Cha giảng dạy trong Thánh Lễ Chúa Nhật…là để cho Lời Chúa đụng chạm tới tâm hồn và định hướng cho niềm tin và những hành động của họ.

Fr. Ansgar Pham Tinh, SDD of the Roman Catholic Church belongs to the Vietnamese Province of the Domus Dei Clerical Society of Apostolic Life. That’s what the “SDD” at the end of his name stands for. Fr. Ansgar Pham Tinh was ordained to the priesthood on December 27, 2003 in Taichung Diocese, Taiwan. He served the Chinese Catholic people in Bacolod, Philippines, and in Vancouver BC, Canada since he became a priest. From 2007 to the Summer of 2013, Fr. Ansgar Pham Tinh has served as pastor of St. Joseph Vietnamese Catholic Church in the Diocese of Dallas in Grand Prairie, Texas. In the Summer of 2013 to the Summer of 2016, Fr. Ansgar Pham Tinh has been called to live his life for God in service to his brothers, priests, and new members in his religious community as the continuing presence of God’s love and compassion at the Motherhouse in New Orleans, LA. Since 2016 until present, he is the Pastor of Our Lady of La Vang Parish in the Archdiocese of Portland, Oregon, where he serves the people of God by teachings and performing the Sacraments.
When people ask him about his hobbies, or about the way he spends his free time, his response is one of few words: “I enjoy reading and writing reflections.” He believes that as a child of God everyone has a powerful story to share that brings encouragement to everyone in their relationship with the Living God which enables them to know Him personally by His own WORD.
